XL = L

Imagine walking through a department store or some other clothing retailer. Now, as you browse through the racks, a nice looking button-up catches your eye. It’s the exact color you were looking for and fits precisely into your particular style of dress.

In other words, it’s perfect.

So you excitedly take this item over to the nearest dressing room and try it on only to find that… oh crap, not again… it doesn’t fit! So you look at the tags just to make sure that this shirt is your size and it reads “XL.” Then you look down at the product description and printed out in bold letters on its fancy card stock are the words “slim fit.”
